Yeah, I've heard that one already. It may be true, but the problem is that there was only one of these "pseudo-soundwaves" so far as I can recall, and it was, quite obviously, Soundwave. It was Soundwave, buttons and all, in fact, and could not have possibly been a generic, though I'm aware the generic transformers on BM were very soundwave-like.

I agrea that he resembles soundwave, but scence the Writer denied it and there has been no Retcon conserning him, Its not soundwave.

Someone mentioned Starscream on BW Cybertron. Some possible reasons:

 

1/ It was a dream, so not "real". Meybe Cheetor had been watching data-spheres about Cybertronian history?

 

2/ It was the "Ghost of Starscream" and so he gets to fly around as much as he likes.

 

3/ Starscream was a bigger enemy of the Decepticons and either qualified or duped the council into thinking he was "on their side all along".

 

My Impression was that any Decepticons given amnesty on Cybertron became Predacons and thats how that particular faction was born.

How do you explain the G1 Preds?

I bought the Heasmasters DVD's on e-bay ... pricey but worth it ... I was watching some last night .... THEY use the phrase " You know" and "You see" after almost every sentence ... Ultra magnus died last night, got his arse handed to him by sixshot ... and galvatron died in ice... saying oh no , my destiny is ruined.... Question, probably to New soundwave cause he seems to know alot bout these episodes... Are they actually calling the leader of the robot trains "grimlock" i don't recall him getting turned into a train, but i bought these a while ago, watched the first like 10 epsidoes and then stopped and just started again ... and also did Galvatron actually say that he would call himself " Unicorn" if his plan went through and he became a planet that remarcably looked like the Unicron Prototype figure ?

In Headmasters, they also pronounce the word "idea" like "ideaR" every time. And the ones who do most of the autobot voices sound like Scott from the terrance and phillip thing on south park. Don't forget that they refer to Cybertron as "cyberTON" and the funniest par t fo the whole series is when Sixshot debuts in the first episode and identifies himself as "The Ninja Consultant". WTF
