Okay, my cents on this.

 

1. I hope that they are still going to change Magnus' his weapons, heck even changing Megatron into Browning would be neat on that regard.

 

2. Takara has had quite a few financial setbacks and it was pretty close or Takara would have had to close it's factories. If they think they can make extra money with this, I support it fully, even if it takes away the uniqueness of MP Prime. It's the choise between waving farewell to TF's in general or getting a few things like this.

 

3. I do suspect we get the toy without a battle armor. BUT. As Takara is now apparently having the plans for the MP-01 Trailer, they also might sell the Magnus armor sepperately later on as well. (And frankly put I am not sure if I would put Magnus or Prime in the battle armor :D .)

 

4. I wonder what they did with the matrix.

I dont think he should have been recolored at all unless he gets the armor too. It is G1 acurate technically since the 1st Magnus was a White repaint but I want something new. How can it be called Masterpiece with no armor that transforms and actually, optionally hold BT cars? I want Megatron or at very lease an upgraded RM Starscream.

Nothin but a big piece of crap. This is the WORST IDEA ever.

Is any one else starting to hate getting info before a product is officially announced? We're getting worked up and we don't know what the final product will include. Although history tells us will be screwed.
