I loved, loved, loved RID (the toys not the show) but if I were a nitpicker (and I just may be) I always had a problem with prowl. It seemed that when he transformed, his car mode just kind of exploded out away from the robot. I likes'em better when the car parts are part of the robot like the front hood being the chest etc..

 

So, i popped off his arms at the shoulders and switched'em then I spun his head around and his legs so the both faced his "back". This made the windshield and the hood his new chest. As for the doors, I folded them down around the legs like armor.

that's the transformation i used for universe sunstreaker (not too far off actual transformation really). :thumb

those transformers are good in front view, the back has lots of kibble. side burn is much worse.

Yeah, a lot of people did that when Mach alert/ Prowl first came out. You should be able to find pics if you do some smart googling.

Tried it on my Prowl and it looks a bit goofy though.

 

If you did it to OTFCC Sideswipe it would resemble Alternator Sideswipe. :)
