Alts for $10 at Wal-Mart?

Recommended Posts

I was driving around and I found a Wal-Mart with Alts labelled at $10. This was not a sale price as the price tags were green. I verified by having them scanned.

They had Meister, Dead End and Hound in stock. All scanned at this price.

I have yet to see any other Wal-Marts do this.

Is it a stocking issue? A sale? (Sales usually involve red tags. The tags on these were green. The shelf had the standard yellow tag announcing their price as $10. They scanned at $10.)

No other Wal-Mart I've seen has these prices.

:eek :eek2 :eek :eek2 I hope this is a nation-wide thing. :eek :eek2 :eek :eek2

if it is nationwide, im about to have some doubles...but i was at wallycron last night and they werent on sale

Did they scan for an even $10? That's probably not a company-wide price reduction, that sounds like a local clearance. I don't really know, though ... Wal-Marts aren't consistent with their prices. I know my Wal-Mart never had the price reduction on Energon deluxes (I think? I don't follow those toys) that appeared to be commonplace at most Wal-Marts. Then again, there was an article on CNN.com yesterday saying Wal-Mart was going to be more aggressive with pricing for the rest of the holiday season due to disappointing turnout over the Black weekend. I'd figure that policy would be more geared towards selling $25 DVD players and $50 TVs, but who knows? Wal-Mart doesn't have problems selling toys.

I was in Wal-Mart last night and saw a pallette among the rest of the toy pallettes that was covered by one huge 5-sided box. Out of the corner of my eye I saw "Energon" and other TF words as well as coding for toy types that indicated to me that under it was some sort of large Energon display. Just FYI.

double post mania!

pics please!

No, it's not nation wide. I was at wal-mart last night to get some drawing supplies and while I was there, I strolled on over to the toy section looking for any good TFormers. I saw the alts and they were all marked $19.26 and even the sign underneath them said $19.26.

I wish it was nation wide.

why no alties no 10 buckies :tfsad :tfsad

I think is a mistake, we got a huge lot of Alts SS and houns for 75 cents here, the others were correctly priced.
