Ya I loved Prime time 1 and 2 I hope they have a third one in the works and I hope they get the guy who sounds just like Optimus for the part. You could do something with Rodimus Prime and Energon Rodimus. As well as the currently appearing Primes.

which Optimus?

The MP Prime and the Optimus Primal both sounded likr thier original versions I loved that. I would love to see Rodimus and Rodimus Prime get in on the action next time. You know nave E. Rodimus try to avenge his Optimus` demise and get his butt kicked it`s only too bad I can`t lend you my Alternators Rodimus Prime kitbash to do the job.

They sounded exactly like the shows voice actors, for good reason :tflaugh

They WERE the original voice actors.

Primal and G1 were done by using voice clips from the shows. :thumb

Okay STEELJAW. I have some questions.

1. When you were filming a Transformer walking, Between your begining step and your end step, How many Frames of movement did you shoot between begining step and end step?

2. I am using a sony digital handycam for this. For each frame that I shoot do you suggest I use video recording for like 2 seconds on each movement frame, or do you suggest that I snap photos for each movement frame shots?

3. Did you use Nail polish on all your transformers for posability on PRIME TIME2?

Those were great! Love the use of the PowerMaster Prime twin rifles, funny!

Depends on how fast you want the movement to look. If you are using an editing program you can adjust the length of the indivudual frames to make it as fast or as slow as you want. The more frames you take, the shorter you would want the length to be, so it will look like it's moving at normal speed. I suggest a few test animations to get the hang of it.

I wouldn't suggest either. IF you have an editing program. For example I use Pinnacle, You can plug the camera into the computer via a fire wire, and Use the computer to take the frames. It works a lot faster and a lot cleaner then starting and stopping the camera. It also allows you to edit the frame length, in the way I mentioned in the above answer.

3.  Did you use Nail polish on all  your transformers for posability on PRIME TIME2?

I use clear nail polish on any loose Ball joints in all the transformers in my collection. It works great to tighten them up a bit. Some of the charactors in PT2 required some touching up.

If you are having trouble with balancing the figures, in awkward positions, thats a different story. We used 2 methods primarily when this issue arose. 1. was to use the camera to keep some of the figure off screen, to allow it to be held. 2. Was to use clay, preferably the same color as the ground/floor/table/whatever you're working on. Arrange the clay at the feet to help keep the figure stable. Using clay is how we pulled off alot of the shots in our movies.

Oh and here I thought you guys actually hired some one who sounded like them but hey your probably on a budget.

For an easy to use program, I'd suggest Stop Motion Pro - there's a limited version available online for free.

Well, I have to check this. I need to put my "Unicron Battles" in one piece :)
