I kind of like it and I kind of don't. I think with the overall color, Soundwave would have matched must better than Shockwave. Soundwave was blue, Shockwave was purple. The one thing HasTak seemed to be doing was keeping the colors consistent with their G1 incarnatons. This one however totally blows that out of the water. Secondly, I think the Mustang, for the ALT mode anyway, would have fit Shockwave better as it would have given him better bulk, something the original Shockwave and even the Energon Shockblast/Laserwave seem to have. With the RX-8, it just seems too wirey to me. Oh well, it's probably the real deal. At least it's not as bad as the Ravage ALT. I doubt anything can ever top that abysmal POS.

 

I hope HasTak don't get any ideas.....

I actually have a purple Meister sitting on my desk. No need for alarm, I made it that way. My girlfriend loves RX-8s, loves purple, and secretly loves Transformers so it's just a little something I did for her. It does look kinda silly, but the spraypaint job (everything white was sprayed) is stellar and she's gonna love it. I'll post pictures with my takes on Prowl and Sunstreaker after I figure out this print-your-own water decal business and borrow her digicam. My brother is dying for me to show them off.

they look like after market wheels form say Volk //Work or advan and the bady work is mazda speed so shock wave is a JDM tuned alt

Those are actually standard Mazdaspeed MS-01 Magnesium wheels ... so you're sorta correct because RAYS (parent company of Volk) manufactures Mazdaspeed's line of wheels (as they do for several other "factory" tuners ... NISMO, TRD, STi, and RalliArt).
