Yeah, VW has their reasons and I wont fault them for it. Honestly he just wont be bumblebee if he isnt a beatle, but a Mini would be good enough. :tftounge

I don't like the idea of Bumblebee as a Mini. Its just like Mirage (until Energon) was always the F1 racecar - Bumblebee has to be the VW Bug. There are just some G1 names you don't change the formula for.

 

Everytime I see a Mini, I think of Austin Powers 3 ...

Great pic! But all the photoshop'd pics use the Smokescreen parts. I know. I know. Cause it's easier to use. :) Even Mazda used it for their prototype. But hopefully they'll keep the Smokey/Streak/Prowl transformation scheme limited to those characters.

I wonder if Hasbro knows about this place yet. They need to get some good ideas such as that Bumblebee.
