Odd ROTF Jetfire's leader toy got a autobot symbol but DOTM Sentinel prime's leader toy didn't get a decepticon symbol.

Odd ROTF Jetfire's leader toy got a autobot symbol but DOTM Sentinel prime's leader toy box didn't get a decepticon symbol.

technically Hasbro did create & release a DOTM Leader sized decepticon toy which was sentinel prime.

How odd & weird Hasbro labels ROTF Jetfire's leader sized toy with a autobot symbol on his toy & box. Jetfire switched sides in the movie from decepticon to autobot.

But DOTM Sentinel Prime was almost in charge of the decepticons forces in the DOTM movie. gets a autobot symbol on his toy box.

I think a better scenario for ROTF Jetfire & DOTM Sentinel Prime's toys. would have been to create a flip around autobot & decepticon symbol on each toy, similar to what hasbro did with classics 2.0 deluxe sized dinobot's toy. for the actual toy boxes,I think a hologram changing autobot/decepticon symbols would have worked perfectly.

I did a quick google search. theirs a legends sized ROTF Jetfire toy with a decepticon symbol on the toy package.

While I was doing a google search on ROTF Jetfire,I noticed a awesome leader 2 pack japanese exclusive of jetfire & optimus. the awesome part was they recolored jetfire in all black & gold, they got rid of the weird blue colors on the toy.

In ROTF, Jetfire only tells the story how he used to be a decepticon and then defects the autobots. This was just there to flesh out his character a bit and give a nod to G1. In terms of what happened only in ROTF, Jetfire was always an autobot.

Sentinel, on the other hand, was portrayed as the new hero of the autobots. As the movie progresses, it seems, that he'll be the one to save cybertron and finally end the war. But then comes the shocking revelation that he was actually working with the decepticons to enslave the earth to rebuild cybertron.

To put it shortly, Jetfire was an autobot in ROTF and is listed as such for his toys, but Sentinel is an autobot for his toy because it would be a spoiler otherwise.

Sentinel Prime does have the Autobot insignia on on the Leader toy

In the movie, Jetfire was only shown as a Decepticon. They never showed any point where he got a different symbol. Him and Wheelie both were still Decepticons but working with the Autobots. Now I don't know about the comics or the games.
