After a long layoff from customs I started work on an Alternity version of Prowl that would look good enough to stand next to Generations Jazz, probably the best figure in his line. Doing this reminded me about another project I'd completely forgotten about that was a nearly done. So, here they both are!

 

Alternity Prowl was Alternity Ultra Magnus and has Reprolabels.com stickers from Classics Prowl and Alternators Streetwise. A good chunk of the plastic was hacked away from his lower legs, because the tabs, Nissan logo and trunk halves just wouldn't fit properly otherwise. There does not appear to be any downside to this. All the additional black accidentally made Prowl look like a badass, which I kinda like!

 

Alternators Prowl was Binaltech/Kiss Play Autorooper at one point and has Reprolabels.com stickers for Alternators Subaru Prowl and RX-8 Streetwise. Two similar Prowls is one more than I need, so the big one is now on eBay.

That is a really nice figure. The only complain is I think the head could look a little more painted compared to the rest of the figure.

Not really a fan of Universe Prowl's head, but I think they both look awesome. Overall, even with that head, Alternity Prowl looks best, only because of that color scheme. All that black makes him look really nice.

Thanks for the kind words! I agree about Classics Prowl's head and would like to figure something out to make it look better. Maybe some blue, like the Alternator's head? The only spare heads I have are for Autorooper and Alternity Magnus, neither of which helps at all here. :P

Much better than the Deluxe Hasbro gave us. Did I see that Alternators Prowl on FG-site a few days ago?

Dunno how much that blue would help, but what makes me not like the Classics face is that he looks sad. The red fins(?) is also kinda meh for me.

I could take the sad look and run with it. Maybe some sharpie'd on emo eyeliner? He is wearing almost all black. :P
