Some Cool Pics...

Recommended Posts

Treadshot's Superlink Brother (which has less paint details by the way) is called Skydive I believe. The good people of Takara kept the original names of the Arialbots, save for Afterburner. Same with Bruticus and Onslaught's name was still Onslaught...

(I may be wrong on this one though, if the names are diffrent, I'd like to know.)

I like the name I chose "SkyWave" cause "Wave" can mean ocean and thats blue so if you look at his NRGON weapons, there blue. So that gave me the good idea...

Here's some pics of my newest TF, ShockBlast!

:tflaugh

Notice anything different about my ShockBlast? I turned his feet around backwards.

Doom-Lock.

He isn't that coolest looking character, but the colors used on him are just awesome. I love the new color scheme from over the old Cruel-Lock.

Yesterday I relized that Doom-Lock and GrimLock both have "Lock" and are Dinasours...

What kind of camera are you using? I assume it's a digital, but how many megapixels, etc?

The lighting you've got in that room is really excellent for this sort of photo. It looks like a combo of natural light and flourescent. Am I right?

Those are great pics. For camera AND your skills are great, oh pictograhing one!

i picks up the 4 available limbs on saterday and i love them. SLedge and Threadshot are definatly the best, threadshot is especially possible

I use a Kodak EasyShare CX6230... 2.0 Mega Pixels.

Its a great camera, though I know nothing about Mega Pixels. I only know that the more you have the better the pics.

There are quite a few things I do to the pictures in Adobe Photoshop to make them look better.

First on the camera I have it set on Hi-Resolution. So when I open a fresh picture onto Photoshop, it comes out huge. Over a 1000 pixels by 1000 pixels! When this in mind, when you resize the pictures to be over 40% smaller the detail greatly improves.

Next I cut out the Transformer from the pic, to have it only showing him and not everything around him. Then I adjust the Brightness and Contrast on the photo, sometimes the Hue and Saturation and sometimes I sharpen the image or sharpen the edges to the image.

I do this to every picture I take.

For lighting I mostly like to use sun light. I no nothing about lighting but I know not to use a flash. I HATE using the flash on any picture, I try to stay away from doing that always.

I like to take pictures out door, seems to give great detail and indoor is nice also. But for most of the pics you see that are indoor, the lighting is coming from a window with the blinds shut backwards. The reason I do that is because to much lighting can get certain parts of a Transformer a bright null non-detail pic. Since the only lighting is the window and the rest of the room is dark around the parts of the room. If the whole room was lit up 360 degreez then it would be a different story.

I have never used artifial lighting, for one reason I no room to setup a small studio or setup for taking pictures like remy has.

Well hope this helps.

man i can't wait for these guys to get here i want gesaults
