Fortress Maximus ---- the Next Reissue

Recommended Posts

no.. its a "they cant"

Toys have to pass various tests and if my memory serves one of them is a "drop test" and when fort max is dropped from a 10yr olds height, it smashes.. thus failing.

I may be wrong, but i remember reading something like that.

It's not so much the breaking, it's breaking into pieces that could be a hazard to young children. Fort Max broke into sharp pieces that were too sharp for standards.

The drop test/safety rules are the problem. THerefor, unless Hasbro will drastically alter Maximus, but else he can't be released by them. The only way we can get a reissue of Fort Max, is the same way we've got a reissue of Megatron, Predaking, etc... namely, if Takara releases it.

Previously, i had concluded that Takara would only go to the trouble of re-releasing a toy if and only if Hasbro would re-release it, thereby absorbing a chunk of the costs.

Soundwave however prooved the exception. Plus it's highly unlikely Hasbro will re-release Preadking.

It's still possible that Takra will re-release Fort Max. We've seen that all the mold exsisted in a useable state a few years back.

It will costs at least $200 probably, but i still think it would sell......

id buy one anyways.

then lets make it completly out of diecast... then it won't break... :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap :roll :roll :roll :roll :redface :redface :redface :redface

yikes it would brake the tiles in my kitchen floor though, but I'd buy it

I strongly believe Takara will reissue it. Maybe sometime next year in the place of this years predaking. They put it out for the RID line and they are all sold out now. When they were out, you could get them for 90 bucks new, now the rid brave max doesnt go for less than 130 used.

I think takara might come with a re-release of Scorponok isntead of Fmax
