I bought the original Predaking about 4 years ago, very good condition with everything, best thing I ever did, this toy is simply amazing, it leaves everying else behind, just a commanding preasece, and the individual Preds are pretty good to, trust me if you passed on the Takara Reissue you will regret it, I cant reccomend this toy hightly enough just simply one of the best G1 toys around.

The Predacons are all garish ugly plastic bricks. If it wasn't for the Predaking combined mode, they'd be up there with such pinnacles of toy design as the Jumpstarters, Battlechargers, Wheelie, etc.

I say get him. GET HIM! One of, if not the best, G1 combiners. Only had 3 whaen I was younger, but they were awesome. Plan on getting him myself. More than bricks, Armada was bricks. Dude, seriously, GET HIM!

RE-ISSUE- Its like buying a brand new $5000 tv and being the 1st person on the block to say "I got it first!" Then after a year every1 else has it at 75% off while yours might be older and has wear, but its the same none the less........

Think Predaking will be a huge seller so he may not go on sale at all. I am probably getting him even though he does cost a lot.

I say, if you're willing to spend the money on Ebay, get him. But I'd get him after the reissue comes out. More than likely, Predaking will come down in price on Ebay due to the reissue being out, because people won't be willing to buy at teh prices that are being asked.

 

Of course, I suspect the Predaking reissue to be sold out rather quickly. So the price may indeed, still remain high.

 

It's up to you on which version you want. Buy a G1 set on Ebay, or buy the reissue and get a complete Predaking. IMO, it all comes down to how much you're willing to spend.

FORK yeah! if there is one g1 toy to buy it's Predaking, and next is Megatron.. other than that the ANSWER is ... YES buy HIM are you CRAZY not TOO?

Right on! Yeah, I'll confess: I also bought two of the Predaking Reissue, but only because I got an awesome deal on them. I'm just fortunate to have a decent enough job to be able to afford to buy TF's in duplicate. :clap When #'s 17 and 18 come out in Feb or whenever I'm totally screwed, though!

I don't buy reissues, but for Predaking I made an exception. I have it on pre-order and am eagerly awaiting it's release.

 

Yes, he is expensive, yes he is a brick, but he's also the largest G-1 combiner made, and still a whole lot cheaper than getting the original.

 

Getting the reissue might be your best bet on getting it relatively cheap.

 

If I were you, I'd buy him.

He may get cheaper eventually, but Takara will keep producing him for a good while i'd say...........
