This may sound crazy, but would anyone like a G1 Arcee toy?

Recommended Posts

Would anyone else like a G1 Arcee toy? When I say G1 Arcee, I mean a toy that's made just as it might have been back in 1987. All of the other 3rd party Arcee toys that have been made go with MP/Classics/etc. Most 3rd party toys are new versions of G1 toys that haven't been updated. So we have nice, new, articulated Arcee toys out there, but no G1 counterpart. I know there fans of the old Transformers, so it's not totally a bad idea, but I can see why some might not like this.

I will pass. I didnt really like the direction the toys went after TFTM. G1 Blurr and Kup are terrible TFs in my opinion. I think that is why I got into Generations/RTS in the first place, they were such good updates on the old stuff.

Their idea of repainting Blurr into Arcee was bad then the idea of repainting Chromedome into Headmaster Arcee was bad also. So I would have to say no but I would take a G1 Generations Arcee

Why would you want a glorified brick? No matter how sentimental I get when it comes to G1 which pretty much was my childhood, these new Movie toys are so much more imaginative and beautiful in both aestetic and variation.

The point is to have an interesting counterpoint to the typical 3rd party Transformers. There are so many out there that there might as well be a true G1 Arcee toy. Like I said, any other Arcee just wouldn't go with a G1 collection.

Hell yeah I would like a G1 styled Arcee. While we're at it, I would love (not being sarcastic either) to own that Unicron figure they made but never released. I love the simple schemes of the old 80s figures. Gives them a bit of character. Don't get me wrong, I collect classics/universe/generations etc.....but if I had to choose between my old 80s figures and my C/U/G/RTS...it's old school all G1 all the way!

Have you ever seen the pics of the unreleased prototype? I guess this is the sort of thing you mean. As much as I love my MGT Arcee, I do kinda wish we'd had a proper G1-brick version back in the day. Would also be interesting to see it released as some kind of special edition Encore figure, but that'll never happen.

I hadnt seen that before, but I have to admit it looks better than I thought it would. I could actually go for that.
