I'm never NOT a Transformers fan.

What I mean is I know some people like to compartmentalize their lives, keeping work seperate from home and such. I do for the most part but find myself influenced by my Transformer in ways that seem kind of odd.

For instance, I find myself favoring a red shirt when I were blue jeans because I think that's what Optimus Prime would wear if he were human. My wife tells me that apparently I had this habit for a while before I was really aware of it. I have some TF T-shirts (as I'm sure most of you do) but there seems to be a deeper psychological component at work here.

Another influence I WAS conscious of was switching to Degree V12 deodorant. It's sports car themed and has yellow and black packaging. It reminds me of Bumblebee.

Anyone else have any such TF influences in their daily lives?

Not really, the wife wont let me put a huge Autobot Decal on the car, My shirt of preference when just going out is Transformers. Though sometimes I will look at a vehicle and try to figure out how to transform it into a robot

My wife calls her '08 Avenger Tracks but recently she's been asking about Decepticon car decals. I'm not sure if she's messing with me but I may wind up with Brakedown in my driveway. It's too much to hope she's going for a Punch/Counterpunch thing, but that's how I'll justify it....

You know that happens to me a lot as well, see Optimus is my fav character and sometimes I see myself wearing red and blue a lot as well.(plus I like the color blue).

I'm not gonna lie, that disturbs me slightly. But, this might be good for you...

(just don't rock it with the Bieber hair cut like the douche in the pic)

But to answer your question... I'm a pretty boring day to day geek. If you saw me on the street you probably wouldn't notice much (except my stunningly handsome rugged features of course, but I digest...) The only thing that calls me out is the big Decepticon logo on my work bag. But once you get to know me... Oh shit.

I've done this a lot.

I got a Con symbol on the back of my Rav4 and my friends always called it the Ravage. A guy sped past me and violently cut me off. I was pissed until I saw he was in a red VW bug with a Bot logo on the back. He gave me the horns and banged his head and I returned the sentiment.

Wherever theres a Con an Autobot isnt far behind I guess.

My also keeps telling me not to get another Tattoo. I have one tattoo, with no interest in getting another one. But I tell her the same thing each time she says it. That if she keeps it up I'm going to get the entire left side of my chest down to my wrist tattooed to look like Optimus Prime's arm and chest. It shuts her up thankfully. So I wont have to do it.

My wife is into tats, I convinced her awhile back to get matching Con logos, possibly Barricade's "To punish and enslave" cop emblem. Just hadn't had the money for such things. Not with plastic crack digging it's claws in me.

......Uh, I have a Decepticon symbol on my Mazda Protege....That's it for me.

Afraid I'm just one of the compartmentalisers. :)

The most I ever did was putting a couple of HOC figures on my computer monitor at work, and that was after I'd been there six years.

I guess if I'm going to a local convention which has a Transformers booth, I might wear my one piece of Transformers gear to show solidarity. That's about it.

I don't tend to customise my day-to-day life much, though. I use a blank computer desktop, have no art on the walls at home, and brand names happen to other people. All the fun stuff is _inside_ the skull. :)
