ok..now that ive fixed my computer lets start this over shall we. I picked up DOTM cyberverse Blackout at Kmart yesterday and havent seen a review for this guy anywhere so i thought id dabble my hand in a review since ive never done one so bear with me please, first time doing this for me. Hope im not encrouching on blitzwings territory here either. im going to be starting with the vehicle mode even though he comes packaged in robot mode. Lets fire this review up.

Blackout comes painted in the same colors as the premium release Voyager from the first movie. The dark grayish navy blue. Its a great color in my opinion. Must better than the blue used on the first release voyager

and you can see for the most part the paint apps are great. and detail is fantastic.. There is a ton of molded on detail. With as much detail there is from the picture you would think this is a larger toy. As you can see, and its the only real complaint i have with the vehicle mode, is his hands are totally visible in this mode....not really that big of a deal though considering how overall fantastic this mold is. And as an added bonus scorponok is hanging off the rear end.

As far as Scorponok goes though, not really that impressed with him. He is made entirely of the soft rubber that ROTF Lockdowns hands are made off. The only thing not rubber is the barrel that flips out from under his belly. More on that later..

Moving on to Robot mode. This is where Blackout really shines in my opinion. Fantastic robot mode. Much better than The first movie voyager. This robot mode just screams Blackout to me. Articulation-wise Blackout has all the major joints. Shoulders on ball joints, bicep swivel, elbow hinge, hips on a ball joint, thigh swivel, his feet are even adjustable for more stable posing. The only thing really missing is head articulation and a wait swivel. Overall though he is very well setup.

As you can see overall he has a very pleasing robot mode. Great posability and just great looking overall....As for weapons, Blackout has two options. the first is his tail rotor blade saw weapon he used in the first movie. In the picture above you can see the assemble hanging off the back of his left arm. To deploy this all you have to do is swing the assemble around so its on the front of the arm. And then pose the arm to your liking. I love this feature. Much better than the lackluster attempt of the First movie Voyager and his giant fan of doom

And for his second weapon. You take Scorponok, Flip a barrel out from under his belly, and peg his tail into it and place it in Blackouts hand. Not much more to it really..Its ok i guess. Nice use of extra features..But it ended up just looking likes hes holding scorponok in his hand

Theres not much else to really say about this guy other than if you see him pick him up..you wont be disappointed.. I have a feeling these Cyberverse figures are going to be a big hit with the fans. My first one and im already hooked...Get him if you see him...ill leave you with this nice pose picture. Hope my review has been informative...Thanks for reading..Later guys

Instead of a soft rubber Scorponk, Hasbro should have made it more like the transformable animal/gun accessories from the G1 Action Masters line.

I might get this Blackout. The only problem I had with the voyager class toy was that awful backpack. This one doesn't have that.
