I did not collect the Classics line so I missed Classics Galvatron. Generations/RTS has been so good I started collecting them. I have a pretty nice TFTM theme going on top of a bookshelf, but Galvatron is clearly MIA. After hearing all the complaints about Classics Galvatron, I am not that interested in tracking him down. That really only leaves me with one option doesnt it - time to customize one.

My question for you is, exactly who will be repainted? I can easily get a WFC Megatron and paint him up all purple and grey, but the head will be way off.

Universe 2.0 Galvatron isn't as bad as some people make him out to be. It just requires a bit of patience to get it right. I personally find RTS Perceptor to be much more of a pain. But I'm sure I will get used to him eventually.

If you can, track down a an Energon Megatron (Galvatron repaint). I'm still kicking myself for passing up on that guy numerous times.

This gut is pretty big though - At least voyager size right (I dont thhink they were even calling them that at that time were they?) I wanted something deluxe to stay in scale with the rest. I have that megatron, he really was a galvatron homage from the start wasnt he?

Just grab one of the WFC Megatrons and repaint him. Then make a new head. I've been thinking about doing the same thing since their still on the shelves right now. That or take one of the Skullgrins and repaint that into a Galvatron. Their alt modes both transform into a good representation of the shape of Galvatrons original cannon.

I like mine also; the size is the only thing that bothers me. It might be the proportions that are off but it looks smaller than it should be to be more in scale with his minions.

PM'd If anything, I could use the head on the WFC Megs. I know I lack the skill to "make" a new head. And who knows, maybe I will like him and just put him on display.
