How long do you want TF: Prime to last?

Considering all the fan boards that are full of TFA love, that would be pretty strange. Your kids may not like it, but I know kids that did.

You ain't converting no one here, And Animated was not as popular as you think it was.

Not trying to.

And yes it was.

And that is why it was a dud? Kept getting its time slot changed? Had less toys the any show since Armada? Got 2 out of 5 stars, the only people who defend it are some of the TF Fans. Always had the toys on clearance, had a majority of toys canceled.

Vast majority of people who watched have agreed it was so so and better for 7 and below. And was abruptly canceled?

Did I miss anything? Sorry but even my daughter called bulkhead fatbot, and thought Optimus looked stupid

Now let's get back on topic of Transformers Prime, one I have to watch to watch because my kids like it, even though I think its flat and Optimus is as disconnected from the humans as ever before

Well I did say the majority of fans I saw liked it. Maybe you missed that. Of course like I said, 'weird, I've mostly saw fans like it' which would cover all those folks who sold out copies of the Allspark Almanac and ask Derrick Wyatt questions about it regularly. I don't know what the opinion of folks outside the fandom thought, but they generally dislike things that are not G1, so that's that.I never saw any toys on clearance, so not sure what your talking about there either. Around here they sold pretty well. Also we could put that hole Animated themed BotCon set sold out in record time in with the toys popularity. My co workers kids liked it enough for my co worker to ask me about it to get them stuff. About what 4 toys out of how many canceled? That amounts to a majority somehow? Less toys than Armada, your right, but also Universe and Movie toys being stocked at the same time. So, what's that, a lot of toys being made for little over a year vs 18 months? Time slot changed, well didn't that also happen to Armada? Energon? Cybertron? Any show on CN after it's new episodes air? (I watched it every morning before work and ever Saturday morning, so I'm not sure where else it was scheduled) Abruptly canceled? Well, definitely too soon, but seeing how Hasbro acquired their own network and TFA belonging to CN, any business savvy person could see what was to happen there.

Your kids don't like it, ok whatever. My nephew loved it. Opinions may vary.

But seeing as this conversation is pretty much a round and round type deal. Maybe we should get back to talking Prime instead of assuming either of our thoughts on the matter is definitive fact instead of a from our viewpoint type of thing.

Sounds fine to me. You and I rarley agree on anything, but I still think your good people :)

I've yet to get a nephew opinion on Prime, he's in middle school now and 'don't like kids stuff' anymore. Course that excludes those Halo toys he wanted for Christmas.

I get the ssshh! I'm watching! and its the only time the 2 actually sit and watch. I'm sure your nephew will end up back in Transformers later. It's a normal teen thing

Yup I went thru that once Armada started. I saw a few episodes of that and was done. I didn't get back into it until TF1 started looming.

TF1 brought back a lot of fans, who were disenchanted by Armada

:agree like em or not the live action movies are the whole reason Transformers has a even more massive fanbase than before.

    • Yeah he's a pretty chunky monkey! I'm hoping his bulk lends itself well to some of my future builds! 😄
    • Uh did I miss something? Where does it say that it's a partial of Huffer? It's not stated in the quote here or in the livestream. In this quote it even says that it's "ALL NEW in three molds!!!". I mean it's standing right there next to Huffer and nothing looks to be shared. Nothing can be shared either as there's nothing in common with their transformations and all their parts work differently from their hands to their knees to their ankles to their waists, arms and torsos. Cosmos' transformation looks most similar to Warpath which would explain the leakers saying that it was a retool. Even then however, they share no parts. Warpath also has what looks to be like twice the parts count from all the flaps compared to Cosmos. I take this full quote as it's completely new as he states that there's a certain budget for new molds and that Takara managed to work within that budget to get all the parts needed while only using three mold sprues. It looks it as there's not a lot of individual parts. It looks like there's one mold in green, one mold in yellow and one unpaintable mold also in yellow. Two of the three shades of green are paint, the yellow on the arms and face is paint, both shades of blue are paint, the red is paint, the silver is paint. Which makes me wonder where the flag came from. If it came from one of the molds for Cosmos then it's not white. Meaning that they also used black and white paint. That's a shit ton of colors used on just one figure. There's also quite a bit of paint on him in general.  This guy is just showing him next to one of the other "Minibots" to better get a feel for his overall size. Not to show that Cosmos is a partial of Huffer.
