Scattershot's third mode (I always thought it was a cannon) was actually kinda cool. Motormaster's is second, but only since they sacrificed just about every possible way to make the robot mode cool in order to allow for the "unfolded" mode.

I got my Menasor without instructions, I wasn't aware Motormaster had a third mode... anyone got pics?

Anyway, I'd have to go with Astrotrain. First triple changer I had and a really fun freakin' toy! Blitzwing would definitely be up second, but mine kept falling forward so as cool as his alt modes were, the fact that he couldn't could well... STAND hurt my impression of him.

 

Let's see... from there I'd have to go with Broadside, his jet mode was utter garbage, but he made a handsome ship and a decent robot for the time. Then I'd go with Springer, who I still have and has trouble standing to this day not unlike Blitzwing. Sandstorm was... okay and Octane just made me sad.

Blitzwing rocks my socks. Although I've cheated on him with Astrotrain a few times.

Back in suburbian CLEVELAND,OHIO as a kid, as nieghborhood we tried not to "copy" what other people had you know. It wasn't fashionable for you and your buddy to both have OPTIMUS. But back to the topic, I never had any of the triple changers, but my brother had ASTROTRAIN & OCTANE. Out of those 2 I would say I liked OCTANE but, for THE POLL, I chose SPRINGER. I have never seen his toy as a child or ever as a matter of fact. broadside, was never that appealing, nor sandstorm. BTW, it just seems like it was "fashionable" to have blitzwing, how many people i knew that had him as a child....alots of them. :ab

All the combier bases sans Scattershot could combine with Menosour or Tyripticon.
