What would u like to see in Don Murphy's TF Movie?

Recommended Posts

dream on that's not gonna happen. This movie's main audience will be children, not G1 fans, sadly.

Moving on, I'd like to see a human side with the Decepticons. He would be an evil scientist and I think 2 actors could perfectly fit the role.

1 - Aidan Gillen; he played Lord Nelson Rathbone in Shanghai Nights

2 - Grima Wormtongue

You smokin' da crack. Kids' movie? What gives you any indication that this will be a kids' movie? This is going to be just like any other Marvel comics movie. PG definitely, maybe PG-13. This isn't "Energon: The Movie!"

Don't give them bad idea!

Very little human interaction please! The story in the DW G1 is good enough IMO and does pay tribute to G1 in many ways. Many of the loved TFs from both sides are present and it has a modern twist. That story is probably going to be better than anything that hollywood or the writer of the craptacular Catwoman film, Rogers. Hey Rogers you taking notes? Read DW TF comics and get it right! :stone

I want a tough Alt Tracks using his arenal to destroy no name bots left and right.

Plus I'd like a scene where in some poorly lit area, some unseen force is quietly creeping up walls and through shadows taking humans out left and right. When the lights finally come on we see Ravage letting out a synthesised growl before he blast the lights back out.

Have you seen Day of the Dead? Now THAT'S a nutty scientist, his mad brain experiments still scare the living **** out of me. The way that guy smiled at zombies... Still makes me pee in my pants in terror.

Dude, Richard Liberty kicked so much ass in that movie. :thumb Did you see him in "The Crazies?" Another Romero movie, worth checking out. Unlike say, Christopher Lee or any other number of people who are good at playing evil villians, Liberty was AMAZING at being someone who we saw go from, "Yeah, he's an ok guy," and degenerate over the course of the film into someone who has completely lost their control and their sanity, but in a way we can understand and feel empathy for. Too bad Liberty's been dead for some years... :tdown

Even if he was around, I don't think an actor of his intensity would get a role in the film. One, it would steal some of the show from the bots, and two, I think it would be a bit much for the film. I'm not saying it should be kiddie fare, I'm expecting PG-13 like the X-Men movies, so we can have angst, (not too graphic) violence, some death, and evil villians, but no full-on insane guys.

Something I do wanna see is destruction, not in the "Hollywood, blow stuff up for me, wheeeee! :clap " mentality, but show how both sides inflict damage on their surroundings, like "The Golden Lagoon" ep from season 2. And definitely have some Autobots enjoy fighting, like Sideswipe and/or Sunstreaker. Blur the lines a bit about who's really a "hero."

A car chase scene would be sweet, but only if it's done with real cars and not CG...kinda tough since real cars need drivers.

Dude all of the TF appearances will be CGI.

I know it has little chance of happening, but a spacebridge that never works would be great. If it always screws up you don't have to have real science backing it. There could be some killer dialogue between Megatron and Shockwave as it blows up for the third time in a row.

Unless the battles take place in the middle of the desert or jungle, I'm kind of wondering how they can explain the lack of human casualties. Even maybe have an Autobot kill (or seriously injure) somebody on accident, in an abandoned building or something. That way you could show a lot of the compassion that may otherwise be lacking on the good guys side. "Protect the humans!" type stuff.

Maybe have the Decepticons take over a car assembly plant and show various characters mid-construction that otherwise can't fit into the plot at this point. Same for the Autobots (but instead of taking it over, asking to use it of course).

I'd imagine that you'd have some poor crazy bastards actually following them arround, worshipping them. The Autobots would turn them away and they'd go to Megatron instead. He'd use them in a crazy plot or as guinea pigs. Disect 'em to see how they work. You've got to remember that although the Transformers would be more familiar with alien life, humanity would still be a new one to them.

That's all I've got for now.

I don't care much for DW comics. I hope they keep the story far away from Dreamwave.

Which just goes to show that no matter what they do, we're not all gonna be happy.

Stuff I want:

1 --- A well-thought out story using the core essentials of G1. Optimus, Megatron, The Autobot & Decepticons Causes are well-rounded and at the essence a core from G1, whether or not they are identical to what G1 was, because in reality it doesn't have to be a rehash of G1, in fact it shouldn't be.

2 --- Exploration of the war and the supporting characters to a decent degree with well-planned human interaction. The human-side of the story could play off certain characters extremely well, such characters like Hound or Bumblebee if they are in the movie.

3 --- The Horrors of War: One main supporting/established Autobot should die in the movie to give a real sense of the tragedies of war these robots have been through for thousands of years. Would bring a great element into the story for the other Autobots to deal with.

4 --- A well-executed instrumental score, whether inspired by DiCola or not.

5 --- Some very well-done action sequences that display the characters personalities, abilities, and overall scope.

Stuff I Don't want:

1 --- I want no Matrix-Action....the "Matrix-Action" is overdone, and at this point just annoying. I'm tired of "bullet-time" and super slow-mo with multiple rotations everywhere. I Do Not want to see Prime slow-mo kick or punch anyone.

2 --- Any major "kid actors". Have a kid in it, sure, fine...but not the kid from SW: TPM or any other major-time kid actor.

3 --- I don't want a rap, R&B, pop, or extreme heavy metal soundtrack. I just don't think those types of music need to be in this movie at all.
