TF:Prime toys = EXCITED!

They've done this stuff before. If publications work out a deal with them, obviously with money involved, they're going to take it. After all, that's the business they're in. I still think it's weird that USA Today of all places has an exclusive with them. Guess it's a sign of just how mainstream TF has become.

I've been figuring it is. Actualy, I've been speculating that the reson Hasbro has said that there will be no Prime toy line, is because the Prime toys are going to be released as part of Generations (ie WFC) or yellow box/movie/mainline. Makes sense, it gets the toys more shelf space.

 

Plus saves money in Box design, But however last time Hasbro said Prime toys wont be released until October 2011

If this is the Generations Arcee, then which should I go with?

Impossible Toys Arcee or IGEAR Arcee?

I need a G1 Arcee

 

Dude. Just chill, they know the difference between G1 Arcee (Generations) and Prime Arcee. Im betting Arcee for Generations will be in the NEXT batch of Classics 3.0/4.0 whatever lines. Later. Im willing to bet money that Transformers Prime toys will be labeled as such. To PROMOTE the line and TV show. Generations will not promote the TV show. Plus im betting Generaions is coming to a close for TF:Prime. ;)

Hmmm...the alternate mode is VERY similar to Animated Prowl's. Which is fitting, seeing as how I still hold Animated Prowl as the standard against which all other bikeformers are (and must be) measured. This mold looks very promising, and may just live up to that lofty standard.

Maybe the ones I got were bad, but I had a hard time transforming Animated Prowl (both versions) and getting everything to lock in place nicely in bike mode...

Yeah same here. TF:A Prowl was just another bike disappointment, although a step in the right direction. RTS Wreck-Gar is my standard now. I love that figure, yes it's alt mode is rather large in scale with other deluxes, but if you take any of the seekers into account, scale is kinda unimportant. Accuracy is more important, along with the figure compared to itself (kibble in bot mode, how much bot can be seen in alt mode, etc).

I'm thinking Hasbro will continue Generations beyond Prime, since its a flop :P see other thread :D

Keep in mind, also, that the bike alt mode from the movie isn't an Earth motorcycle. They're supposed to be big enough to ride on each other.

I still haven't seen any Wreck-Gar's in my area. I'm not sure if I'll get one, maybe I'll wait for a sale...

Excellent point, I hadn't even thought about that part of it haha.

 

And I really like him, once you find him, I highly recommend picking him up ... I don't think you'll be disappointed. :tfgrin
