First custom project: Crossover Optimus Prime

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to repaint Hubcap to look like Prime from the second GI Joe Transformers crossover. Soon as I saw the mold I thought this may look cool. I have included an image of what I'm using as a reference and a pic of the first coat.

What do you think so far?

Oh I like that. I really like it. Make's for a very unique Prime, while still distinctly him. So to sum it up, awesome job so far. And very smooth paint apps for your first project.

that's pretty cool.

Would love to see the vehicle mode when you can.

Thanks everyone. I'm still learning how to do this. Action figures are harder to deal with than other things. I think I have to retool the head a little to get him to transform. I didn't leave enough clearance. Oh well. I'll think about that the next time. More pictures asap.
