It shouldn't matter if it is official or not.

As for the rest of United, I'm going to see if I can find anymore and link to them even if they don't have pictures up yet

It's always going to when its about officially released toys.

However that doesn't mean you can't prefer the unofficial stuff.

How about we just say it depends on the personal preference of the collector?

Otherwise we are just going to get into an argument LOL

I thought the net was for arguing over nitty little things though? Shrug

Ho ho ho; I don't think official or unofficial has anything to do with it either! ...Price points on the other hand...

What were the unofficial Arcee prices? Wasn't one like, $140 or something? Hasbro has shown they are capable of great things when they feel like it, and you won't pay more than $13 for a deluxe at retail, or like... $40 if you're willing to deal with Scalpers.

Given my finances at the moment, I'm just going to keep hoping Hasbro comes out with a Real Arcee at some point. -_-; (So not likely)

*ahem cough cough language cough cough... but I can hardly disagree with that assessment of the figure! And to top it all off, he has a musket rifle! Fantastic! Perceptor is starting to grow on me more too!

That's a musket? I thought it was some sort of staff or cane.

There is a deluxe Arcee that looks great (although it isn't out yet so no hands on reviews). The odd thing is that I saw this in the BBTS and RobotKingdom sites but it has since been removed. I'm thinking it is because the creator iGear messed up and actually used the name "MGT-01 'Delicate Warrior Arcee'." This probably created copyright issues that those sites wanted to avoid. In case you haven't noticed, FanProject is VERY careful not to call any product release by the character name, owned by Hasbro, thereby tiptoeing around that issue. HOWEVER, The Arcee IS on sale on the iGear website for around $100. @Stunts: The Arcee you saw was probably the transforming model, which was larger in size and self built. To my understanding, the deluxe version is scaled down with some diecast parts and comes full assembled (less likely to break apart). And I agree on the pricing of the 3rd parties being high, but usually the product is well worth it!! I mean the level of craftsmanship and engineering that goes into these could only be done by serious TFfans. So far, most of my 3rd party products are FP and I can only assume that the people that don't consider them as a legitimate contribution to their collection haven't seen some of these things first hand. FP Warbot Defendor is the best Springer that will probably ever be released. On the other side of that pricing topic related to Hasbro and their reasonable pricing, I agree. They do have better prices but the quality of the figure is 3 out of 5 times much poorer than 3rd party. But they are in the business of making kids toys, not adult collector's items, so that makes sense. That is to say I am still usually pretty satisfied with everything they release (excluding unnecessary repaints). On another note I would like to see Hasbro not spread the Transformers lines too thin. If I were given the opportunity to run the TF department at Hasbro today, I would: End both crossovers lines, and separate the remaining into 'Generations', 'Movie', 'Masterpiece', and a small line for the upcoming 'TF Prime'. I'd retool the Masterpiece line with designers who could be more effective (this line is the 'Collectors' and high end line). IE I would want to make sure the fans were getting their money's worth for $60-$70. I'd also run an open poll on the website to see which charaters are most desired and release it as a 'Fan's Special' with each wave in the Generations line. LOL Vote for JewceD!! :P
