Thanks to our man Dan at Hasbro who was kind enough to send us a preview of the Sand Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Autobot Blaster action figure. Get a first look at the Generation 1 reissue out of the box with the cassettes and more than meets the BLASTER! The figure comes with stickers applies and have a way cool hologram cover thing for the box that says "Transformers Universe" on the top. All these repro's makes me want a Gen One collection again, but i perfer to have figures of good quality and condition. So imo, repro is the way to go. Blaster is awesome! I havent had one since i lost my giant G1 collection in '96 when my best friend died of drug related death, with all of them at his house and the police confiscated all his belongings.

 

I might go out and get this if i can still get it at the 1st of next month for the $50 its worth. Im NOT paying BBTS prices ($90.00!!! :wtf )

Good work on the comparison shots. Very thorough.

I guess now that i think of it. It's best that there is a slight difference. Being that if a guy/girl was to buy one off Ebay or wherever, thinking it was an original. Wouldn't know the difference, if the colours were dead on.

This set would be better if it came with Raindance and Grandslam!!!

You could always swap the legs if you wanted to. The only real reason to get the reissue, besides not having a Blaster already, is you'd be able to have a working tape door.

This makes me want to see someone do a MP Blaster that can hold 2 - 3 tapes!
