Cheaper alternative to MP Movie Screamer

July 16, 201016 yr

I'm sure I'm not the first who's thought of this, but just to satiate my curiosity.

Has anyone realized what the cheaper alternative to MP Movie Screamer is. Buy a regular Leader Screamer and using 90% or higher isopropyl rubbing alcohol get off the Cybertronian tattoos and some painting, and presto, MP Screamer w/ in movie 1 colors.

I did the same thing to my Leader movie 1 Megatron. I removed all the blue "frost" paint from his face. Of course I bought this before the Premium figures were announced. He looks so much better without the blue face paint. I might have to pick up Leader Starscream just to do this.

Used that trick on an alt decepticharge to turn it into Bumblebee.

I don't like the tattoos, but there is far too much of it for me to bother removing it all. Besides, the fact that the jet is gray, and not sand colored, more than makes up for the Cybertronian markings.
