yeah i'm curious of this too. Also, seeing as how I'll probably never catch all of the E show at this rate, i'm seriously considering grabbing a collection of the SL eps on tape/DVD...any ideas?

(where, how much)

This is also the episode that focuses on Scorponok being revealed as a fake, and having a lost Decepticon spark

Could you please elaborate on that? I'm curious. Is Scorponok a Terrorcon, a Decepticon, or something else altogether?

Here is Superlink MegaZarak(Scorponok)'s translated bio from www.bwtf.com:

"There is no retreat for me--only advance!"

A Terrorcon who has evolved by making his way through countless battles. From the brutal fighting ability he displays in beast and vehicle modes, one would never imagine the chivalrous combat he uses in robot mode.

That's the vague bio.

Here's the cheese on Scorponok.

He was the commander of Alpha-Q's army, and his personal protector. After AQ's parents were destroyed by Unicron some time ago, Scorponok become his guardian. AQ lived on Planet Q, which was inhabited by Terrorcon Transformers.

Unicron attacked and in the midst of destruction, Scorponok fled to the center of Planet Q and detonated a device that would explode their planet. Planet Q exploded, but Unicron wasn't harmed and absorbed it(The dub states he went into a deep sleep, but this is false, as we know he was alive for Armada)...The events of Armada took place and Unicron was defeated and depowered, left floating at the end of the universe, damaged, and offline. In this time, AQ's spark was freed and he assembled a new body(we never see his original form because of PC issues). With this, he sought to create his race again. The terrorcon's corpses were fused wtih Unicron's cells, and given life as he gathered Energon. He then attempted to recreate Scorponok, is former Guardian. The problem was that Scorpy's spark was too damaged and faint to be useful. AQ found a Decepticon spark roaming inside of Unicron, and used it to re-animate Scorponok's remains, now fused with Unicron's cells. With Scorponok's body come faint memories, enough to overpower the Decepticon spark because of AQ's programming...

So in essense, This Scorponok is not THE Scorponok from AQ's planet. He's basically a clone with a Decepticon spark that AQ created as a guardian, again, while he sought out Energon to revive Unicron, his planet, and his race.

When Megatron encountered Scorponok, he recognized the spark. We don't know who the spark is, and its doubtful it's anyone recognizable to us, the audience. Megatron beat Scorponok into submission to torture Alpha-Q, and also to use him to control the Terrorcons. It wasn't until later that Scorponok rebelled, and Megatron killed him by frying his circuits. That moment totally OBLITERATED anything that was left of Scorponok's programming. When Megatron used Energon to bring him back online, while they were beyond the rift, the Decepticon spark fully took over, creating a Decepticon warrior. From time to time, the leftover memories of Scorponok can surface, but are quickly beaten out by his Decepticon spark's programming.

Will Scorpy ever get a repaint?

you said he found a decepticon spark in unicron...maybe it was sideways

I prey for a Black Zarak repaint

get the otfcc one bob! is that enough black for you? :roll

I have OTFCC Megazarak, besides his origional name was Chaos Megatron.

I also read on foxnews.com that Bush won the election fairly, but I don't believe that either...

i love the way you take ordinary threads and use them to continue to push your political views. be glad you got a mod position instead of someone like me

I also read on foxnews.com that Bush won the election fairly, but I don't believe that either...

depends on your definition of fairly.

consider this:

During the last four years (between the 200 election and this one), a total of 7 electoral votes were transfered from major Democratic states (that voted for Gore and now Kerry) to major Republican states (that voted for Bush both times). :tdown This theft of electoral votes was the only way Bush could win 274 with 29 states when he just squeeked by in 2000 with 271 with 30 states (same states as 2004- plus NH's 4 votes). Had the electoral votes stayed in the same states they were in in 2000, Bush would have only gotten 267 and Kerry would have won. :eek

Even though I know Bush did win the popular vote, it would have been satisfying to see him lose by electoral votes (the same way he won in 2000). :clap

Q: How many more electoral votes will be transfered from Democratic states to Republican states in the next 4 years?
