I'm not really excited about Windcharger, just don't like the design very much.

I'm starting to agree with you. First off, it's hard to tell who he is supposed to be, as far as Gen 1 characters (and I'm sorry, but that's why I'm buying these), and secondly, this whole gun issue is ridiculous. He doesn't really fit with my 20th Anniv. Prime and the rest of the Alternators on display. I may just pass this one up, actually.

It's not hard to tell who he looks like. He looks like Overdrive whichhe will wind up being called by Takara. So just like people call Meister, Jazz......

i just picked up a fully painted windcharger/overdrive prototype and i have to say if hasbro is cutting down the size and form of his weapon, i'm sure glad i got the one. makes it feel as though this guy can sniper decepticons from a far. to be honost, i like all the alternators, except the repaint (don;t like any repaints) but i'm so excited to see what and who's next. hopefully for 2005 we can get to see hot rod, arcee, bumble bee, and iron hide. speaking of whihc does any one have any info on the dodge pickup truck, neoen srt, or the vw mini cooper?

"VW MINI Cooper"? What is this, like Mazda Mecedes? :D

Besides, a click on my sig might answer your qestion, but I'll try it here:

- Hasbro said at OTFCC that both the Dodge Neon and the Dodge Ram are "just rumors".

- Hasbro also stated at OTFCC that they are still trying to get the license from VW.

- The MINI Cooper probably won't be happening.

- The MINI Cooper probably won't be happening.

Yeah it sure looks that way though i am led to beleive the protos exist and are just waiting for licensing, we need someone in china to nab one and start making knock offs ;)
