Why didn't Takara make 20th Megatron?

Recommended Posts

I not too aware of the laws in Japan but I know they made a 20th anniversary Prime like ours without the battle damage and they also made the reissue of Megatron which America can't make, but why couldn't they make a 20th Megatron.

Just curious :D

Honestly? We did discuss this topic extensively when MPP originally came out and what most of us discovered it was b/c of gun safety laws in the USA. Feel free to do a search for the 20th Prime threads and read them.

Also Prime was suppose to represent the very best of the technology, articulation, sculpting, die cast parts etc meant for collectors and to celebrate the 20th anniversary. Megs was never slated to be made just Prime b/c for most TFans young and old, HE and he alone symbolized Transformers.

This doesn't mean Takara will never make one but for now, there is no plans. Enough said, moving on....

Well you could have thrown in a couple pics like this as well...but that would have been mean :tdown
