The idea come for this when I sold my old beat up Galvatron for 20 with Insecticons and bought a new, complete near mint, one for 65.00, I wish I would have kept my beat up one so I could have painted him. Finally a while ago I got a hugh G1 haul and a beat up Galvatron was in it. I tried selling him for 6.00 but could so I decided to paint him 1 month latter hear he is. I used for refference the Transformers movie (paused it when Megs first become Galvy) and the Taraka PVC (hince the black instead of the cartoon/movie dark grey). I got the Decepticon sticker from the extra stickers that came with my reissue Megatron. It's funny when I was doing this repaint of much of the detail (that gided color seporation) that was in this toy but never used and with the solid colors looks not as impressive. So let me now what you all think about him. Hear's my custom repaint Cartoon Galvatron next to the original Galvatron. You will notice in none of my pics is he Transformed as the Gray paint I used sucks and rubs off very easly so I'm not trying.
