Final Fantasy isnt what it used to be. I just get the Master Creatures from the older games and be done with it. FFXI and FFXII were monster failures to me. XIII's combat system looks just as shitty to me as well.

 

Love that Shiva cycle tho, I wanna ride that for real :P

 

 

The combat's solid, if a bit repetitive and weird at first. I like it, but I wish it had been slightly different.

Square Enix is always trying to keep things the same but "improve" on them drastically so that they can promote a unique inovative combat system. I miss turn based RPGs. Thankfully, the DS has a ton of old FF games available as well as Tactics and Suikoden. I still own the original PS1 Suikoden also. And the Xbox 360 RPG Enchanted Arms is flawed but it harkens back to a better time in RPG history.
