More Insights into the War for Cybertron in Game Informer 201

It seems to me that rather than scrapping any of the current time lines it kind of looks like it fits with in the war within era. Though the designs differ some from what was in the comics. From what I read it starts w/ a 'con campaign as Megatron looking for this "dark energon" (he's always looking for some edge), and then it starts into the Autobot campaign. So who's to say that you don't off Sentinel Prime in that openning mission as Megatron making way for Optimus to recieve the Matrix during a cut scene? If that is the case then it is 100% G1 compatible. Either way I'm looking forward to a fresh but recognizable reboot. As much as I enjoyed the movies the designs on allot of the movie characters espeacially the 'cons look like someone threw them up. Lets get back to the non insectoid/monkey/spring bouncing/one wheel riding bots & cons we all know, and love.

So then I guess my only questions are do we have any info on release date, and for what systems it is being developed?

*edit*Never mind I did some digging, and release is scheduled for June 22 2010 for all 3 systems Wii, PS3, and XBOX360
