I did not get a couple of the recent Japanese releases: Alternity Red Convoy and Encore #15 cassettes. They are rare now (something I did not think would happen since almost all the others in those lines are still available). You guys that have them.........you like them? Are they worth the increased price that they go for on eBay?

The cassettes for the most part are easy to get it's those dame combiner ones along with Dial and Zaur that are expensive! So I wouldn't worry about those, even if you miss the reissue, they'll always be around.

 

So far I'm passing Alternity. The figures look OK, but still a little under impressive for the cost, so I can't help you there.

 

The general rule is though, buy now or pay more later. Especialy with the forums, it's very easy to see a figure in detail and decide if you want it. I also tend not to wait on imports that arent reissues. Assuming I want them that is.

 

 

Just for giggles though, when it comes to rare, expensive, and hard to find figures, it's always a great feeling when I finaly score what I've been after!

Yeah too high of price on alternity when it came out.

I was thinking that about the Alternity line. I never had all the cassettes as a kid. I like the set of 4 Encore set nice display box. I may have to just get the set and pay the price for not getting it when it came out. :(

Sucks but hey, at least you idn't get all vintage versions just to see them come out in a box set.

I never got a Alternity Prime but he looks pretty sweet in robot mode. A tad small and a bit over price for sure.
