Who said that the twins were acting "black"? At no point in the movie does anyone say that they are acting and talking that way because that is how black people act and the twins are acting like black people. The racist, stereotypical aspect is in the minds of those who think they were acting "black".

Wish people would just drop the whole Skids & Mudflap crap. Everyone was so offended by them because everyone seems to have forgotten that the transformers (in movie-context) learned human languages from the internet. The twins obviously focused more on hip-hop and youtube. They are like young kids who imitate what they see and hear without the sensibilities one learns with age.

 

I think that's why they're such a point of contention. A lot of people can't stand little jackass kids on youtube and in real life. What was the point of promoting this jackassery so prominently in a film that didn't need it? Oh yeah, jackass kids act like jackasses to get their parents to buy them toys. And because I'm so fond of the word, one more time: Jackass. :tfevil

it's not the fact that the twins were racist i do make a lot of racial jokes myself it's there voices and the way they look and the fact that well they are too much like those stupid kids that think there gangbangers i freaking hate those kind of talking about busting caps in peoples asses losers all of them they need to stop smoking pot and listening to g-unit and get a life

as far as the twins go.. i thought they were hilarious, especially when they call leo a pussy, when they say "mean robots suck" then the tire hits skids in the head, when they tell leo he needs a hair cut and call him a bitch-ass, when they fight over the green car, when skids says that he's going to get all up in that ass then bumblebee throws them out, and when they try to walk/get low to the ground and bumblebee knocks them over.

 

i don't see how people don't find that stuff funny.. a ton of kids certainly did.. as did their parents, i've been in several toy aisles and over hear kids and their parents talk about how funny skids & mudflap were.

 

i think it's about time for people to get a sense of humor. skids, mudflap, and wheelie were all very funny in the movie, i love action movies with a bunch of comedy.

anyways, I'm not too broken up about orci and kurtzman not working on the next movie, i love fringe.. so they can just keep working on that.

i too think it'll be nice to get a new writing perspective, just as long as michael bay still directs it. i still want the 3rd one to fit in with the other two. i certainly don't want this to turn out like the "original" batman movies.

This is easy to explain. At a certain point, most people's senses of humor evolve past one-dimensional, insulting and crude remarks and actions that are ill-timed and poorly delivered. Kids love this sense of humor because it's easy to understand and there's no real thought behind it. Funny words and insults sound funny. Farts sound funny. Acting retarded is funny and so on.

 

As people get older they tend to want something behind the humor to give more purpose to it so it's funny on multiple levels. People tend to start thinking beyond the sound effect/action and start looking for the reason behind the sound effect/action exists. So for example, peeing on somebody can be funny, especially if by accident. Having a previously noble and kind-natured Bumblebee (as he depicted prior to the movie incarnation) take a mean spirited lubricant piss on an opponent at a significant disadvantage in all aspects of his character is not funny. It makes Bumblebee look like an ass.

Because he writes comics, not films - There's a very big difference. And he's not the God of TF lore/writing that some make him out to be.

sam(shia) has no more importance in the world of the transformers since the alspark pieces were used, the matrix was found, bladie blah and blah junk. make it focus on the transformers, get rid of sam kill him off early in tha film. now megan wants revenge cuz sam got killed along with a bunch of other humans that dont need to overact in seens that lack transformers. she gets hooked up with cybertronian technology, whuppin all kinds of as because she’s badass like that. new transformers inlude ultra magnus another of the primes from across the universe with his group of autobots sunstreaker,mirage,wheeljack,hound,n hotrod. they brief prime on a situation taking place across the stars and how the various other autobots and cybertrons are fighting dezarius and unicron. they use the space bridge technology to teleport to venus4 in the next star system, unicron you can see in the distance is making his way to devour the center of a galaxy, if he completes this not only will he gain an unimaginable amount of power but it will create imbalance amongst the stars creating enough cosmic radiation to destroy whole dimensions, dezarius is another ultimate being in this conflict acting as unicron’s insurance. dezarious and his destrons are far more dangerous than the deceptions seen on earth. as the autobots join together, unicron telepathicly commands megatron to chase after the autobots, giving him and his fallen decepticon ranks new bodies, thus gelvatron emerges. an epic battle drives across the stars as the autobots get closer to their destination. in this the the true purpose and power of the matrix is revealed(in the light of the creations of cybertronic planets, the matrix was created to match the power of a lifeform which also emerged from this nebulus). prime, magnus, and hotrod discover that they are brothers created by alphatrion. they alone can stop this dark menace. as magnus and dezarius are deadlocked in battle prime confronts (a new megatron) gelvatron. rotrod takes it upon himself to approach the tyrant planet vessel known as unicron. this causes many other autobots to follow aswell as the battling leaders. feeling the power of the matrix approaching, and enraged unicron transforms. (this battle consists of all the transformers in the universe making the visuals alot more epic than those we’ve seen in starwars or startrek movies.) sunstreaker,meganfox, n mirage act as hotrod’s immediate back up, as they get closer they are confronted by a combiner known as kingposiden. prime combines with his godbomber and temporarily defeats gelvatron and boosts to hotrod and the others aid destroying kingposiden. overlord attacks prime from behind, prime tells hotrod and the others to advance. magnus and dezarius continue to battle until dezarius is called upon by unicron. hotrod and the others gain access into unicrons central brain, at this they are cut off by gelvatron and dezarius as they merge into a destron known as devil-z. prime and magnus face off against this newly combinded monstrosity
