Recommended Posts

According to Hollywood insider site, popcrunch.com. Word around town is Sam's sultry skide kick, Mekela Banes, played by Megan Fox may not be seeing much action in the third edition of Michael Bays Transformers Trilogy. Apparently Fox ruffled some feathers recently and is being cited as the reason for the character's demise. Fact or more insanity from this year's critically panned yet highest grossing film? F*%k her anyways. She should get the axe, its not like she was a strong point in an already weak film. I just hope her character is given a scene where her she is killed off in great fashion early on though.

Hopefully we will see less of the humans overall. I am holding out hope that most of the 3rd film takes place on Cybertron itself, which would leave human involvement pretty much out of the picture except for transitional scenes on earth.

i still don't understand this.. what was soo weak about the movie?

and you still think there was too much human involvement in the second film, really? i don't even think 10 minutes goes by without a robot in the movie.

I think were all sick of the bickering. So please, lets not take it out on each other here. ;)

Bah!

Time for a new hot chick.

Ok, I should have phrased that as "stupid/unnecessary human involvement." I don't mind human involvement, as long as they bring something to the story. What annoyed me was the stupid human involvement (Sam's High on brownies mom, Sam's roommate, Mikaela posing for the camera).

I am not going to get into (actually I am) why I thought the film was weak (dumb plot, no Character development, offensive characters, plot holes galore, bad editing) because there are enough threads on here about why many people thought the same way as I do.

I liked the movie for what it was, but in my opinion it was not as good as I hoped it would be, or as good (in my opinion) as many have claimed it to be so. I think a lot of Tran formers fans are still in denial over the way the film turned out. I am still going to buy the DVD when its released, but hey I have a lot of bad movies in my DVD collection, it doesn't hurt to add one more.

I don't mind Megan Fox. Not that it matters really, Bay does whatever the f*** he wants.

So? Let Bay replace her. The only human characters who are at all important are Sam and Lennox, and even Lennox could be replaced pretty readily. Sam's the only "indispensable" human in the series, since he's the host for the Allspark, and that can be changed with a bit of creative writing. Mikaela is just eye candy, and not important to the story. Now if Peter or Hugo were going to be replaced, that would be a problem (unless Bay was going to get Corey Burton for Megatron - that would rock). But Megan? Big deal.

If only this rumor was fact. *sigh*
