Is this Omega a knockoff or a type of Diaclone

I just bought this a couple of days ago on EBAY. It was listed as Pre-G1 Diaclone Omega Supreme. The one with the chrome parts.

Someone e-mailed me afterwards saying it was a cheap knock-off. These pics below are of diaclone Omega Supreme. One from Japan and the other from the UK. Can anyone tell me about the one with the chrome parts, whether it is just another version, Made of cheaper plastic, or anything at all.

How much would you pay for it?

The chromed one is an old bootleg. What you got there is SPACE TANK in a mechabot-1 box.

There isn't really a diaclone omega.

But the original japanese one was called Mechabot-1 in japan made by toyBox. The same ToyBox figure was released in europe as OMEGATRON under the convertors line.

Believe it or not I just got my Omegatron today. It's made by ToyBOx just like omega supreme was.

So how much would you say its worth?

Yes, this is one of those transformers that Takara nor Hasbro never made. Like Jetfire, it was outsourced, made by someone else then turned into a transformer.

well just off the top of your head, how much would anyone pay for this?

It is still sealed in the factory plastic around the styrofoam
