I am both happy and sad at the same time. Happy that we have another rare figure that can be available to mass market, but sad that it's just a repaint of a pre-existing mold, like Stepper. Isn't the reissue Soundwave using the Soundblaster mold?

Not exactly. The Soundwave reissue does not have Soundblaster's expanded chest storage. The Soundwave reissue can only hold one cassette even though they used the Soundblaster mold.

Wow. Kudos to Hasbro/Takara/whoever for going with this one! Hopefully we'll see some other more "obscure" reissues.

I'm gonna guess we get at least Ratbat as one of the cassettes...

I just knew it was going to happen

Die hard collectors will tell you that the reissue soundwave is NOT using the soundblaster mold. Its was just rerelease of a variant of soundwave sold in japan back in the day.

i'm gonna get this guy if i don't find a soundwave reissue i'll just stick with one but it comes with buzzsaw tehn i'm getting a soundwave reissue as well

Awesome

Interesting. Wish Hasbro would release either of them over here.

Here is a better pic of Soundblaster! Enjoy! :thumb

And I am so happy he is going to be reissued! Awesome.
