Hey, I have a G1 soundwave (complete now thanx to Admiral Tailz for the hand) and I was going to repaint him (since I already have my original G1 from childhood and the reissue).

 

I need help in deciding what color... I did a little rendering in photpaint and RED looked ok... so did black... but I was wondering if you guys had any ideas.

puple/black...give him the decepticon look.

I agree,

The blue should be dark purple,

eyes dark red

and the grey should either be dark grey or completely black.

The now golden highlights I would make silver (on his chest).

If you are planning to reapint the see through part of the chest I advize a dark red tone.

 

His face will resemble the Decepticon ensignia now, since I believe its his face that portraits it.

actually i was thinking black with purple accents,i mean there are more black tape players than purple right?

I'll work on these ideas and post them tonight hopefully.

Dark purple, gold or silver with black. Some yellow to bring out the eyes. Or you can try the Black, red, silver combination too. Let us know how it goes.

well, here's a real QUICK rendering... just to give some thoughts.

eh *shrugs* I might be the only one, but ole sound wave just doesnt look right repainted to me. I say keep orignal. But hey what do i know he's not mine, ummm go red that has a good guy look to it.
