^On a PC...there's literally TONS of freeware out there! You've actually got me interested in working on this now! I'm attempting an effort utilizing a PC to rip/convert, then transferring everything over to a Mac to edit. I'll shoot you a message to explain the processes I'm using!

I'm sure it can be done on a Mac, I just don't know how, and I'm not sure it can be done in freeware. You might want to ask on a Mac specific forum.

Well, free, pirate, or software "borrowed" from work. There are ways.
