Yeah, I agree on the expensive route.  Get a figure you can't normally afford...  Brave Maximus, G1 Scorponok, G1 Omega Supreme, something like that.  If you don't have all the BT/Alts yet, you could go that direction.  I prefer the die-cast, so it's BT for me.

 

If you want a transforming toy, and you're open to other lines, you really ought to look at the Soul of Chogokin Dancougar.  Man, that thing is HUGE, heavy with lots of die-cast, and it's nicely complex when it comes to the transformation (plus it's a combiner, what more can you ask for?).

Thirdly, I'm thinking that going with the Alternators is a pretty sound choice. Hell, buy duplicates and sell them for $50 on eBay (does the 'e' stand for 'evil,' by the way?). If not, then I'd go combiner.

Yeah, Predaking would be good suggestion, since it's one pricey item rather than 7 or eight 20 buck items.

 

I recently cleaned out my piggybank to get Savage/Noble. Had enough in there to get Beast Machines Thrust as well.  :tfgrin  (And best of all, they could be shipped for the price of one!  :tftongue)

 

Just think about it and try to read reviews online. Based on reviews, Savage/Noble is a great toy so I am looking forward to getting him (after all those years).  :tfgrin

Savage/Noble cost me $20 and Thrust was $18. But I was going to get the first anyways but asked the seller about the shipping for two figures.

 

Turned out he could send both for the same price as Savage/Noble alone so I thought that was pretty sweet and got Thrust.

 

Figured he is a cool chararacter (who was in the show as well) so a must have among Beast Machines toys and I would probably wanted to purchase him sometime in the future so now was a good a time as any.

 

Perhaps it is a little expensive (sadly shipping to my country makes everything a little more expensive) but I spend a little "too much" on several Transformers and never regretted it. :tftongue

I'm considering buying BT Tracks and *ahem* "Zoom-Zoom" (*shudders at name*), b/c I think that the 'Vette looks awesome in yellow, and the RX-8 looks awesome in red. No G1, RiD, Armada, or Energon for me. I'm probably going to spend the rest (if I get those BTs) on Beast Machines figures and BW TM2 Megatron (LM likes him some fiery red dragon TFs :thumb).

Don't listen to any of these suckers. Get the Season 1 box set of Beast Wars & if you don't have it get Season 2 as well. Then hop on over to ebay for a MISB Transmetal Megatron & MISB Transmetal 2 Megatron. There are actually factory sealed. I'll tell ya which seller is legit.
