Great hommage, cool robot mode and slick vehicle mode. :tfgrin And the Powerlinx modes are cool.

 

He is pretty posable and looks good on my shelf.

 

Tow-line looks weird to me but the "station" is a neat idea. I will buy him when I can. I would still prefer Downshift as I loved Wheeljack in G1

I have the SL Wheeljack, but after it went around the office and everyone trying their hand at transforming him, it came back to me sans the paint app on the Autobot symbol on the chest. Luv the silver/gray plastic on him, I prefer them over the lime green plastic parts of E-Downshift.

Actually, I think they're both homages.

 

Towline seems to be Ironhide, or at least reminds me of him heartily.

 

I hearby rename mine Ironhide!

Ratchet suits him better. The head sculp just screams it. Not to mention, Ironhide was a clean van and Ratchet had a lightbar. Makes more sense with all the roof junk on Towline.

My only complaint about downshift... is his lack of transformation...

 

Hes basicly a "car on back" robot.
