Sixshot in the show?

Recommended Posts

seeing sixshot makes me wonder about characters like Dreadwing. We all thought Sixshot and Dreadwing were just repaints made to sell more crap to us....but with Sixshot showing up, anyone have any speculations on Mirage getting toasted and coming back?

yeah I can see Dreadwing being 'ghost' Mirage

i was thinking later this morning about it again....what if sharkticon and slugslinger are also characters that show up later...Sharkticon is pushing the idea a bit, but Slugslinger looks very takara-ish in design.

Just another nugget to munch on.

The next few episodes of Superlink are gonna mirror the G1 movie's opening war scenes....Most of these repaints you're seeing are gun fodder. It's a way to kill off characters without them looking mindless, while also marketing a toy on shelves. I'm sure it's also quicker to recolor a model than to build a new one out of junk parts. In the preview, THREE combiners are present, not four(See Hasbro, learn to count)....All bets are that Buildtron gets fragged in his first appearance, and Bruticus/Superion go on to carry the battle.

To be fair, we don't know that yet. For all we know, there is a generic fourth one who gets blown up and since it doesn't have a figure, no point in them advertising it

i'd sooner think that there was only 3 combiners....Buildtron is an exclusive which isn't going to be in more than one store in Japan. He probably gets wasted very early in the fight.

That's my 2 cents...

The preview showed the ancient tomb that the combiners reside in...there were only three.

The nature of the plot doesn't allow room for a fourth one.

Hasbro was also wrong in saying Starscream loses his Energon ghost parts...when they are nice and visible in the Superlink previews/toy repaint.

To be fair, we don't know that yet. For all we know, there is a generic fourth one who gets blown up and since it doesn't have a figure, no point in them advertising it

:pfx

And if making toy combiners are so expensive why would Hasbro make C. Maximus.

And it's not that clear that there were 3 combiners, maybe the 4th was off screen.

Annnnddd Megatron blew up the fourth combiner (who looked like a redeco superion) and that accidentely waked up the other three.

Hah, nice...I betcha Buildtron gets axed pretty soon, too....Takara's actions on releasing the combiners is kinda fishy...
