Classics relative scale size?

Recommended Posts

I was looking at my TF Universe Classic Sideswipe and wondered what scale it is?

I know that the Alternators/Binaltech are an actual scale size of 1/24. It looks like it could be 1/32 scale size. I think 1/43 is too small.

I've got an idea for a Custom and this would help me decide it I want to add it to my project sheet or not. Thanks in advance for the help!

:win :yay

i don't think there is an official scale... but 1/32 ought to put you close

There is no exact scale. The Deluxe sportscars would be about 1/32 - 1/35, Ironhide and Ratchet closer to 1/38 or smaller, and so on and so forth. To date, the ONLY series with an actual scale is the Bin/Alt series.

A 1/32 VW microbus looks way too small next to Classics Bumblebee ... so he's bigger than that.

For most of the deluxe cars I'd estimate a scale of 1:35.

Alternity Convoy is 1:32 and is clearly bigger than the Cl/U deluxe cars. They seem to be roughly the same as the movie figures and those were 1:35.

But Classics/Universe really is the worst line for scale. Not even within the same kind of altmode is there any consistency, which considering the limited number of figures is a definite shame.
