ok, so if this is in the wrong section please move it

im taking an extra animated shockwave i have and turning it into animated armada megatron

i already have the paints i need to use, but i have a few questions..

one...i cant figure out how to keep the longarm face with the neck extended...ive figured out how to give it bigger antlers just the face is giving me problems..

second i need to find some decent hands to replace the longarm hands, ive already dremeled off the ball joints on the longarms hands so when i find the right hands i can glue the balls on and pop the hands back on...its proving difficult to find hands close to the size i need though

any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated..

Should be in "The Workbench" (http://forums.TFormers.com/talk/index.php?showforum=97) I've already reported this to be moved, so I don't think you'll need to create a new topic. :thumb

As for keeping the Longarm face, if you don't want to have him use the Shockwave face, might you try gluing it so it doesn't do the LA > SW transformation?

As for the hands, I haven't a clue. Might try doing a scratch build? :shrug

i was actually considering that with the face....find some way to take the head a apart and rig it to keep the longarm face even with the neck extended...just havent actually figured out how to do it yet...and i think i may have found a few different hands to use...i guess its gonna end up being trial and error until i find the right hands to use...

For the face, I'd disassemble it, remold the LA face to look like Megs, then reassemble without the spring and glue it together.

Thought of a possible source for your Megatron hands; Use the hands from Ratchet, trim off the "magnets" leaving the rod built into his hand, then you could attach Megatron's "hidden hand blade".(made from one of Ratchet's tools, the one that looks like the can-opener)
