Although I absolutely love the first season of G1 and I like most of the 2nd and 3rd seasons, if you want me to say what I think is the best show, not my favorite, there's no way I can argue with Beast Wars. The characterizations, the plots, the depth of the show...it's simply tremendous.

 

I have a feeling Energon is about to take "the leap" and join BW and G1 in the upper echelon of US Transformers toons very soon.

that was the best part of Beast Wars, having it take place while the Autobots and Decepticons are still offline.

As most ppl are saying its a toss up b/w Gen1 and beast wars. I grew up watching Gen1 and I still follow transformers to this day, and that says a lot. However, beast wars had great animation, a nice, deep story, and even though it was a cartoon, it wasn't afraid to get a bit hard-nosed at times. A great series overall, especially when they went to the trans-metal phase.

 

I've only seen one episode of energon, but I was impressed. I'll hold off my decision on this series until I see more episodes.

 

My least favorite series has to be RiD.

Gen 1 season 2 and Victory are my favorite TF series. I liked Beast Wars, but I wish the series had more characters in it.

Beast wars in my eyes is by FAR the best TF series...but i thin kthat everyone is drawn gernally to the series that they grew up with..some kids i know say RiD was the best, but tas only cause they didnt get to grow up with the previous series, so its all in the prspective

Beast Wars was the best. Great characters, great writing, tied nicely into G1, it had it all.

Beast Wars. G1 is what I grew up on, but as a cartoon Beast Wars is much better.
