Have people used Big Bad Toy Store?

Recommended Posts

I've been trying to use them for the first time. I managed to place a Superlink pre-order, but I have not gotten any replies to subsequent e-mails (especially since I sent a query as the pre-order confirmation e-mail came through as totally blank).

Is this typical? I've heard lotsa folks use them, but wondering if I've messed up somewhere. To be quite honest, I have an AOL account and I *know* they're known to not play nice with e-mail from some ISPs...especially hotmail as of late.

I've used some vendors where you can just place an order and forget about it 'til your package arrives, no need for confirms/other e-mails. If this is the case, I won't sweat it.

I am not sure, I would email joel and explain what happend, the order my have gotten hosed

Yeah, send a message to Joel...I've had only good experiences w/ them and they are really good about responding to questions and problems. Usually, you'll get a confirmation from BBTS almost instantly after your purchase...if you have an order #, that would help the process...

I have had nothing but positive transactions with them. Email Joel.

Again like everyone said, they do great business and Joel will answer any questions you need. They are very professional and do an excellent job of packaging.

Give joel 24 hours and he will have an answer for you.

Yep, no problems with them ever. Just give Joel a holla and within 24 all should be hunky-doory

See, that’s the problem. I sent an e-mail when I placed the order…maybe two weeks ago, and I sent another one yesterday morning and haven’t heard back. That is the e-mail address I was using. I did not keep any info from the “order confirmed page after I placed the order, since it informed me a confirmation e-mail should follow and my printer sucks anyways. Probably my bad.

Oh well. Based on the replies here, I should probably give him the benefit of the doubt and assume everything is fine and this is AOL’s fault. We’ll see what happens with the order.

Thanks to everyone for their response.

Ace,

BBT is awesome. If you use AOL, you might want to check you're SPAM filter folder. I use AOL myself :roll and often times get BBT news in the SPAM folder. Also, everyday when I deal with ebay or ebay seller, most of their emails get shoved in the SPAM folder also.

I got a G2 Megatron from them and they sent me an e-mail saying the order was confirmed and I got an e-mail when it shipped. I have had no problems with them whatsoever.

BBTS is one of the best places to get your toys. I have nothing but good experiences doing bussiness with them.
