Just saw this link on TFormers:

Those are beautiful backgrounds designed by Alex Dilts for Transformers Animated season 3...

BTW, any idea who might be the Transformers lying on the "operation table" in the second design?

(Note: this is my first thread... if anything's wrong with it, please tell me so... thank you!)

Cool. If we can keep tabs on this guy, we might be able to get some nice inside info.

Thats Ultra Magnus hun. At some point during season 3, he gets messed up REALLY bad. Judging by that background it looks like the Autobots have him on life support of some kind.

OMG! Are you sure about this? This will be a major event in the third season if you are right!

Yeah, it ain't a question of whether or not I'm right, it was leaked awhile ago. Some art of Magnus ripped to shreds, I dont remember exactly but I think it was off Marty Isenburg's blog so it's pretty much official.

I'm always late on the news... LOL but, seriously, this might be one of the major turning point in season 3 of Transformers Animated!

Thank you for the info, Breaker!

Yeah... It looks like they might end the series with Optimus taking command of the Autobot army like in G1... This is my guess...

Optimus with an axe AND a hammer. ROCK!

EDIT: If this happens then we will need a leader class Prime just so that he can use the hammer. Make him come with a trailer too.

DOUBLE EDIT: And for the love of god, give him grappling hooks and a bola already!

I really hope Rodimus won't be involved like Hot Rod was in the movie...
