well, I voted on it, so I hope they do Headmasters. They should post the results on their website.

I wouldn't mind seeing it on DVD. We'd get a better copy of the Blaster vs. Soundwave duel that killed both. I've only found (and then lost :tfmad ) poor quality VHS captures of that scene ....

 

Nothing like seeing Blaster punch through Soundwave's tape deck compartment ...

Yup it's quite true. Nobody can defferentiate it. US headmaster cartoon colouring is

much darker than Jap. Everyone knows it. Jap ver maintain it's originality on the colouring part. That's how i differentiate it. :tfgrin

I really like the Rebirth 3 part story. I wish they had continued to do an entire "season."

 

I guess you could compare the concepts of the Headmasters to each other (Nebulons or not, etc...) - but I don't think the stories really could be compared since Rebirth was virtually one long episode & headmasters was a season.

Well the Japanese Headmasters series completely ignored rebirth. in rebirth Arcee and Daniel binary bonded, not in the Japanese one. Also Rodimus and all the "familiar" transformers fly off for no aparent reason and never return...Fortess Maximus is just the head robot, his head never pops off...oh and Galvatron goes out like a punk...

 

I actually would have prefired it going by the Rebirth story line mostly because it had more Target Masters in it. Thought the Japanese series DID have the Duocons at least...
