What were the hardest engineering problems in the Transformers Revenge of The Fallen toys?

I've been collecting Transformers since their inception in 1984 when I was 14 and still collect to this day.

 

Over the past few years the company has really created a lot of great figures, both as homages (Roadbuster Ultra Magnus) and direct nods to orginal characters

from the past (Universe Cyclonus).

 

But I have to ask this: Why can we not get a Generation one accurate Arcee?

 

I know we're getting Animated Arcee, and as a homage figure she looks absolutly stunning and I thank you for making her. However, with all the outlets (Collectors Club, store exclusives, etc...) there must be a way to get a Gen 1 Arcee toy made that would be affordable to the buyer and profitable to you.

 

The old adage of 'boys don't buy girl characters' isn't as valid as it used to be as Transformers...now more than ever..transcends many age groups and both sexes. The fans have been demanding one for years but it seems that when the chance to do one appears (such as doing her for Alternators/Binaltech and then repainting the mold for the rest of the Female Autobots) the character is passed over for one reason or another. (I am aware of the Arcee named repaint from the Overdrive/Windcharger mold, but without an accurate mold change on the head the figure is Arcee in color palette only)

 

So please, why can't we get a G1 accurate Arcee and what can we...as collectors...do to make this happen?
