Help me design Alternators

Recommended Posts

A ford focus 1:24 kit added onto the body parts of an alt smokescreen would be cool as skids, seeing as the original figure for him had an alt mode similar to a focus or a honda civic. I don't know how easily the parts would swap for the subaru parts tho.

i like where ur going with wheelie Furious George. enough sports cars... hasbro is sitting on a gold mine. they need to expand. how about some vans, suvs, planes....come on use some imagination hasbro. a gmc van would be cool for ironhide. maybe some licensed planes for some decipticons. and am the only one who would like to see the trailer made for the anniversary prime? maybe it could fit some alternators in it too!! also wondering if anyone could clear something up for me: why cant "meister" be called autobot jazz. and who even makes the "jazz" car? also why would they make grimlock into a car when there are so manu other autobots that still need to be made?

oh and am i the only one who would like to see bumblebee made....come on its too easy!!

Meister cannot be called Autobot Jazz since there is currently a Honda scooter named the Jazz, and in Japan, there's a Honda car named the Jazz. Alternator Meister is a Mazda RX-8.

As for Bumblebee, Hasbro is still trying to get a license for the VW New Beetle, but haven't yet gotten it because VW has a problem with their products being associated with "war toys"

I'd like to see a Chevy SSR truck or S10 Xtreme that would be my 2 choices since we don"t have any trucks yet

With pick-up trucks there's the problem of what to do with the bed of the truck. I'd be all for someone figuring that out.

>LoneDrifter: couldnt they just use the bed as the legs. the gobots had a red pickup that transformed like that

>still dont understand why companies want give the license out to hasbro, if u think about it they got advertising out of it....right?

>i have so many ideas for alternators... wish hasbro would employ people on this website!!! would love to see a ratchet ambulance van, then they could do ironhide also

well guess ill just have to enjoy the ones i have now, like Hound, which i was lucky to find in a random aisle @ Kmart for $25.

I have some ideas as to how a pickup truck could transform. I'm not sure why it's taking them so long to come out with one :P Anyways, if I come up with some specific ideas, I'll let you know :thumb Good luck!

(Shameless plug)

My fictional Alt character is a pickup truck (with a hard-shell tonneau bed cover). His transformation is pretty basic (front of vehicle = chest, head and arms pop out from under hoot, etc.).

His lower legs are actually the back of the truck from the doors back (Grimlock-esque in that the backs of the seats become the bottom of the feet), and his upper legs, crotch, and lower torso are all tucked in on the underside. From the upper torso back (which is right under the cab, just under the front seats), the entire back section of the truck folds forward.

Since he's got a tonneau on his bed, there's plenty of cover for hidden mechanisms and thus less complex transformation, so the back of the cab that is attached to the legs extends and becomes feet. Doors positioned forward in the traditional "wing" style", and the windshield and roof fold down in the back.

Is that something along the lines of what you were looking for?

You can use Alt/Bin Sideswipe's legs. They are flat in car mode and would do well IMO. :tftongue
