I found these pictures:

I dont speak japanese. :tflaugh

Taken from here

These are old, they are from Wonder Festival Winter 2002. The top image on the left display are the figures that were released & available in the market "in Japan". The bottom image is just the right side of the display was a "Vote" which figure you wanted type deal.

Couldn't they use those figures to make new molds for Sunstreaker and Wheeljack?

You'd think, huh? .. I doubt Wheeljack's mold is even damaged.. probably just someone spouting rumors.. he looks a little too good to be vintage.

Couldn't they use those figures to make new molds for Sunstreaker and Wheeljack?

I've always said - if bootleggers can afford it, what should keep HasTak from doing the same?

Besides, as I also said more than once: Convicted bootleggers shouldn't be sent to jail but instead be forced to provide their services to Hasbro and Takara for free (i.e. restoring lost molds). :D

Now, seriously, when was the last time the Wheeljack and Sunstreaker molds were in use? The Euro "Classics" line in 1990, or even any later date?

Didn't someone from Takara state that the plan was to reissue all the TFs from the first and second series, though? That could be "the project"...

Well, I'm optimistic we'll see some more car reissues :) All that's left is Mirage, Sunstreaker, and Wheeljack and I'm sure they'll be out in the none to distant future :) Heck, I hope the Dinobots get reissued :)
