does the alpha q toy transform, or is it at least posable, does it do anything?

You can pose it, as it's got some limited articulation. Also, if you roll it along it's wheels, it's tentacles flail about.

No transform....but there is a video on TFormers.com showing it in action. When you roll it or something the arms spin about and does wacky things. Let me see if I can dig it up...

Does anyone foresee Alpha Q to be a big seller? I'm not seing it personally. Sure, it's the first "Quintesson" to be made into a toy, but I'm not too keen on having a Transformers figure that doesnt transform. At least the Hasbro version of Kicker comes with a new version of Highwire.

I'm not sure if it will be a huge seller, but it's really tall, looks cool and accurate, and I think it would make a great display piece in any Energon collection.

Alpha Q is the best character from Superlink, so he will sell.

um he himself isnt a TRANSFORMER. he is an action figure, int eh Transformers line of toys.

And action figures have been popular in their own right, by the virtue of just being a figure you can pose, sence the 60's.

Plus if he transformed, then he would be less show accurate.

(goes back to transforming my Kicker, HerosOfCybertron PVCs, and Tranformers's comics)

I think since being such a centerpoint in the series for months to come in the US, Kids will want him....
